Terms of Use

These Terms govern the use of the website (the “Site”) operated by The Green Korean Medicine Clinic (the “Clinic”), and set out the rights and obligations of the Clinic and its users.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to define the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Clinic and its users in connection with the use of the services provided through the Site.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• “Site” means the website operated by the Clinic to provide treatment information and visitor guidance.
• “User” means any person who accesses the Site and uses its services under these Terms.
• “Posting” means any inquiry, comment, image or other information submitted by a user to the Site.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

These Terms take effect when posted on the Site. The Clinic may amend them within the limits permitted by law, and will announce the effective date and the content of any amendment on the Site. A user who does not agree to the amended Terms may discontinue use of the services.

Article 4 (Services Provided)

The Clinic provides the following services through the Site.

• Information on treatment areas, methods, medical staff and facilities
• Visitor guidance such as opening hours and location
• Receipt of online consultation and appointment inquiries
• Notices, columns and other health information

Article 5 (Suspension of Services)

The Clinic may temporarily suspend the services for unavoidable reasons such as maintenance of equipment, network failure or force majeure. Notice will be given in advance as a rule, or afterwards where advance notice is not possible.

Article 6 (Obligations of Users)

Users must not do any of the following.

• Use another person's personal data without authority, or register false information
• Interfere with the operation of the Site, or collect, copy or distribute its information without permission
• Post content that damages another person's reputation or infringes their rights
• Act in violation of law or public order and morals

Article 7 (Management of Postings)

Rights in and responsibility for a posting rest with the user who submitted it. However, the following postings may be deleted or moved without prior notice.

• Postings that infringe another person's personal data or privacy
• Postings for advertising or promotion, or repeated postings of the same content
• Postings that violate law or infringe the rights of others

Article 8 (Notice Regarding Medical Information)

Information published on the Site about treatment methods, formulas and symptoms is general health information provided to aid understanding. It does not replace diagnosis or prescription for an individual patient. Outcomes vary with each person's condition and constitution and are not guaranteed. Whether and how to proceed with treatment must be decided through consultation with our medical staff at the clinic.

Article 9 (Protection of Personal Data)

The Clinic protects users' personal data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, the Medical Service Act and other applicable laws. The items collected, the purposes of use and the retention periods are set out in the separate Privacy Policy.

Article 10 (Copyright)

Rights in the text, images, designs and other works published on the Site belong to the Clinic or to their rightful owners. Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute or commercially exploit them without the Clinic's prior consent.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

The Clinic is not liable where the services cannot be provided for reasons beyond its control, such as force majeure or network failure. Nor is it liable for the consequences of judgements or actions a user takes on their own in reliance on information published on the Site.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)

Where a dispute arises in connection with use of the services, the Clinic and the user shall consult in good faith to resolve it. Where no agreement is reached, the competent court shall be determined under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.

These Terms take effect from the date of posting.
